Actually I am more likely to say, “You could learn how but it’s a lot of work and I wouldn’t recommend it.” No, seriously, I took a beginner’s sewing class about 5 years ago, mostly so I could make cute clothes for my kids and maybe curtains, and it’s turned into this major time-suck hobby for me. Oh, Husqvarna sewing machine, I just can’t quit you.

Wearing my late grandfather’s lederhosen. The shirt isn’t 100% tracht, and I’ve heard that today Germans prefer a pheasant brush to a feather, but the rest of it is authentic.
