Doper who posted a suicide note

Last night, one of the members of the SDMB posted a suidide note; they said that they were going off in an hour to end their life by “deceleration trauma” after finding out they had a cancerous tumor in their brain.

It looks like the thread, originally titled [username] has gone “Bye-Bye”, was moved to a private mod/admin forum.

I’m just checking to see if anyone knows if that Doper is okay or not. It’s not a board technical issue, and this appears to be the most appropriate forum in which to post this message.

I can certainly see why this would have been moved, but it’s it’s authenticity can be verified, I certainly hope the poster is alright.

Better yet, I actually hope it was a hoax. Please let it be a hoax…
