How many of you can’t keep your fellow dopers straight in your head? I’ll be the first to admit it’s my fault, for not paying enough attention, but for some reason, there are some I just always confuse with others, even tho they can be very, very different. For instance, I’m always getting Fenris confused with Esprix. or kellibelli with Andygirl. Again, I don’t mean to cast aspersions on the dopers I’ve named, it’s my bad, I have a hardware short circuit in my head that makes me mix them up. Perhaps I’d remember them better as individuals if they had interesting diseases.
I don’t really mix the names up, I just tend to read them wrong. For example, Qadgop the Mercotan, to me, is pronounced something like “Quagdop the Mercotian”. Don’t ask me why. Oh, and for the past few months, I read “CrankyAsAnOldMan” as “CrankyAssOldMan”.

I won’t even begin with the names I get confused, because there are just way too many of them. Suffice it to say that if two dopers have names that begin with the same two or three letters, chances are that I will confuse them at one time or another.

I always get Searching for Truth and Speaker for the Dead mixed up. And I agree with TheOtherOne - to me, your name is pronounced Quagdop the Mercodian.
