Anyone hear about this? Doritos is sponsoring a contest where the best amateur commercial gets shown during the Super Bowl. I’m mildly surprised this hasn’t been done before, and that it wasn’t a beer company.
It has been done before, and I think it was Doritos.
Doritos has been doing this for at least two years. Last year’s ad- which featured an employee predicting “Free Doritos for everyone” with a crystal ball before smashing a vending machine with the same ball- dethroned Budweiser/Bud Light’s decade-long stranglehold on the USA Today annual poll.
