On a few occasions, usually while carrying something heavy like groceries or dead bodies, I have had to pass through a double glass door. Often, only one of the doors will be unlocked and the other firmly secured in place (e.g. bolted shut). Have never really understood why apartment landlords, unscrupulous mall and school janitors, etc. do this. Locking one door is a mild incovenience. What is the benefit? Does it save wear and tear on the door (it certainly doesn’t on the bolt)? Does it provide amusing out-takes on the security cameras? I have noticed this phonomenon in four different cities, not that it happens every day or anything.
I’m new here. I’m not going to go through every thread that’s ever been posted to ensure my question is truly unique. That said, thanks for the link. And let me give you some Robitussin. Chris Rock says it cures everything.
I could tell by your post count. That’s why I was nice and only coughed up the link. If I thought you were trying to get on our nerves, I would have farted it up.
Now you can go irritate the hell out of this guy.
By the way, what kind of practice does the good doctor have that he (or possibly she) finds himself rushing nervously towards the exits with a corpse under each arm?
I’m still a resident. You can’t expect things to go smoothly every time you attempt to fix someone’s scoffed fingernail.
