Thanks. It still gives me the shivers. When I told my husband he said, “Don’t worry about it.” I wanted to hit him. He thought he was being helpful by letting me know it was okay.
He means well.

I havent had a bad dream i can rember for less than a day. I do rember one that had my older brother as a spider and he had my whole family in his web. I decided to save my family from my spider brother. So I aproched the web pulled my buck knife from my boot at thet time in my life I was a adoment hunter. Allways hunting in season so the only time i did not have it was at school. So I went to cut my grand father out of the web when my knife toiuched the string I was shocked by some un seen electrical force. back further than I was when I began this dream. Undaunted I ran tword the web and it stayed the same distance away so I had to watch my spider brother consume my whole family. I was unable to stop the carnige I was allso unable to stop running tword this trying everything to stop him including throwing my knife at him. When he had finished with everyone else he turned his travling web of death toward me. I stil couldn’t stop running toward him Until I was caught in his web. Then he dined on me as well. I awoke with the worst case of cotton mouth ive ever had.
Sorry about the gramer
In Stephen King’s book The Shining there is a part where the mother is remembering Danny’s birth. She recalls how she looked at him and screamed because it looked like he had no face. Actually he had a caul over his face and cauls are supposedly a sign of special or supernatural abilities. One of the original paperback covers for the book showed a boy with dark hair and no face.
Maybe your son has psychic powers!
I tend to have these lucid dreams about flying that turn into nightmares.
For awhile I can control my flight high above the treetops and city skylines, until of course I actually need the ability to fly to escape some type of pursuer.
I have a lot of falling dreams where I wake up right as I’m about to die.
I also suffer from deja-vu a bit…I find myself in certain situations and I think “I know I just dreamed this the other day!”
Two dreams that stand out for me are both from my childhood:
One was when I lived in Hawaii and had just seen “Jaws” for the first time. Well naturally, living in Hawaii, my family and I went to the beach just about every weekend and I was an avid boogie-boarder.
One night after viewing “Jaws” and having somewhat cautiously swam in the ocean, I had a dream that I was adrift at sea on my bed, but I was asleep in my dream, too, outside myself. I watched in horror as the bed was encircled with sharks, and as I watched myself roll over in my sleep and let my arm dangle into the water over the side of the bed…I can still feel the biting sensation of what my dreamstate deduced being bitten by a shark must feel like.
The other dream involves Dracula…I “woke up” in my dream hearing the muffled cries of my little brother from his room that was adjacent to mine when we lived in Fort Benning…I ran to his room and saw Dracula with his cape draped around my brother, his mouth attached to his neck. I ran to defend him but Dracula wrapped his cape high around my brother, and as I reached them, the cape turned into a brick wall that I pounded fruitlessly on as I listened to my brother die on the other side of it. I woke up weeping and thinking it had really happened, then I crawled in bed with him and went to sleep. I’ll never shake that one.
