I have them (I’m female) but there’s never anything disgusting or offputting about the toilets in my dream, it’s just that I can’t pee in the dream or if I do pee, it gives no relief. Then I wake up and rush to the bathroom. The only time I’ve peed the bed as an adult is when I was nine months pregnant with the first and simply couldn’t get out of bed in time.

Male. When I have them, I’ve found an adequate toilet, but nothing seems to be coming out, although I have a strong feeling of urgency. I suppose that’s a good thing.

It’s really uncanny, how accurately the OP described my dreams of this sort (which I have about once every couple of months).

In mine, the dreams are always that the toilet is full to the brim in the middle of a room. Or they’re weird contraptions like you’d imagine in some futuristic foreign country that you can’t figure out how to use.
Yes! Female. I have had these dreams regularly for years - thankfully never followed through! The dream is nearly always set in some Victorian public toilets with doors hanging off the cubicles and people watching (perverts!).

… female, and yes, I have those dreams. Usually with the “there’s no door on the stall/the toilet is too disgusting to use/it’s in the middle of a crowded room/there’s a mile-long queue” sort of plot, and I generally wake up before too long.
(On a slight tangent, I also have dreams where I’m desperately tired and need to lie down but can’t. I have no idea what those are about, given that I’m… already sleeping.)
Female and yes, I have these dreams. Either I can’t find a toilet, the toilet’s filthy, in a weird place, or there’s no privacy. Sometimes I actually find a decent place to pee and start to pee but something happens to interrupt me. I have never peed myself on those occasions. I once dreamed that I was at a convention and had tried to find a bathroom but couldn’t and wet my pants so I went to my hotel room to take a shower and there were a bunch of people in my room and some were using my shower. I was very upset and I still had to pee. At least I had no peed myself on that occasion either.
I once asked my boyfriend if he had these kind of dreams and he said no, if he ever dreams that he’s peeing, he usually is but it doesn’t happen much. Thankfully he’s never had this happen when he has stayed over at my place.

Frequently have such dreams, though they’re of the “gotta go. Went. Still gotta go, WTF?” variety.
On a few occasions I’ve awakened just as I was sure I was going. This causes me to go :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: then bolt to the bathroom, where I discover that PHEW, it really WAS just a dream.
Male,over the years have had more then a few dreams where I have actually had a leak but have felt no relief.
I then wake up after a while and so far have not found that I’ve peed the bed.
I then visit the toilet instead of dreaming about it.
