Dress code in court

I guess it varies by area. My last time, I was on call for Monday morning (call in Sunday night). I was told by the recording that I was not needed and my service was complete.

Some 30 years ago, they did something like that here in Minneapolis.
Jurors had to show up at 8am. But if you worked downtown and could report to the Courthouse within an hour, you were released to go to your job downtown. I can’t remember if they called your work number, or if you had to call in just before lunch to see if you had to report at 1pm.

Seemed to work pretty well. Took less than an hour out of the work day, so not much problem at all. Especially back then, when half the employees seemed to work in the downtown area.

I hate it when the judge tells me my tabs are on crooked over my black sleeved waistcoat.

I’ll have to refer to the case of Rex v. Roger Fuckbythenavele.

@running_coach and @Tim_T-Bonham.net , I refer you to my previous mod note.

On ‘Court Cam’ a judge busted a young man for saggy jeans.
He argued incessantly with her his underwear were not showing that that was his basketball shorts.
She told him I don’t care. Pull up your pants and tighten your belt. He wouldn’t do it to suit her so she sat him down and he had to wait til all the other cases were heard.
When he was called back up he had removed his jeans and just had on shorts. She sent him to jail on contempt.
