Dropping a Dime, on your neighbor?

Apparently, by not responding.

The OP’s lack of response could conceivably indicate he has had a heart attack or stroke. Quick, call 911.

Tried, can’t get through! The lines are all busy, dammit!

Find something better to do unless the cop sees him on the phone it won’t matter what you say. You are not going to fix the way people drive. Reporting them will not do anything nor will them getting a ticket. Also the police do not give a shit about a lot of the stuff you talk about. They pull people over because if they don’t it looks like they are not doing anything. Yes some people drive recklessly but forgetting to put on your blinker when the next lane is empty anyway? C’mon you are wasting the cops time and holding up the 911 line for real emergency.

I think he may be busy dropping a deuce on his neighbor.

What’s that?.. a dime?

Sorry, I think a deuce may be more accurate.

Just saw your post Chris. Don’t waste the keystrokes. It has been said by a hundred others and he doesn’t seem to care.

Please, Watch This Space. I am doing some investigating and its after Bussiness hrs. so I might not be able to post my findings till tomorrow, or the next day. Depends how busy I get at work.
Spud, I’ll take that bet.
sry., gotta go
NadaHappyCamper

Good luck with your investigatin’, I’m sure you’ll crack this case wide-open…

Cool, my Ram is on the trailer ready to be delivered to buck you 50 times. Just make sure you send him back in similar shape.

Please also make sure you have a cite to show that Marlys R. Davis is incorrect in his response.

And just so you know, I have nothing against you as a person, just the fact that you can or won’t answer a simple question such as how often have you called 911 in the last week.

Over 24 hours and no reply… either it is very busy at his work or I’m back to winning the bet. I’ll check back tomorrow (not holding my breath).

I will try to remember to keep checking the Auburn website for any change, and post again if there is. As of this moment, no change.

A: 1; I have read Ms. Davis’ reply to Boyo Jim
2; I tried to place a call to Ms. Davis, was told she was away till next week
3; In no way shape or form am I disputeing Ms. Davis reply to Boyo Jim’s email
Can’t continue right now, my attention is required elsewhere, will pick this up later.

I appreciate your checking into this, NadaHappyCamper. FYI, I did see an odd thing about the email. The header, which I didn’t copy into the post, was time stamped Monday, August 23, at 12:43 AM, or just after midnight Sunday. Odd time to be responding to business email, and suggestive the the response was sent from home or on the road, and not from the office.

Also, I just checked the Auburn page, and it is unchanged.

hehe. You are known.

I also live in King County and I really wouldn’t be surprised if Nada had been told to call 911 for non-emergencies, regardless of what’s on KC’s website. I’ve watched cops scold an employer of mine twice for NOT calling 911 to report two break-ins (separate incidents) that had happened hours previously. They used a non-emergency number since whoever robbed us had come and gone hours ago. Granted, robbery and property damage are more serious than minor traffic infractions, but still… King County seems to have a weird idea about using the non-emergency number.

Are you in Auburn? I wonder if it’s one or more of the city or town cops/ES people rather than the county people. There may be some kind of disconnect between the governments.

No, I’m not, but they were city cops that were talking to us. I haven’t had any other interaction with either the local police or King County to know if it’s part of a larger trend or not.

Not sure why I thought about this today, but how is that investigation going Nada?

The Auburn website hasn’t changed.
