Having just read this I don’t know what to think. As I understand it the controversy rests on the fact that the doping tests rely on detecting elevated levels of substances which may occur naturally in athletes. Similar problems are tarnishing professional cycling.
It seems that either the governing body can act tough and perhaps exclude those who may be innocent, or else be more lax and give an unfair advantage to those who use drugs more skilfully.
I have no answers, the whole situation sucks and makes me sad.
