This is my 3000th post! Well, offically that is. I’d have more, but there was that little problem we had awhile ago. I know that the number of posts is supposed to be unimportant. I also know that 3000 posts isn’t as impressive as it was when I started out.
I remember how amazed I was when I had 2000 posts, but that was the first time. The second time I hit 2000 I was mumbling four letter words.
I must admit that I am not a classy poster like some that I could name. I am aware that I have a style, but it varies more than most posters. I sometimes get serious in GQ and GD. I enjoy finding questions that can be answered with a cite that is right on the nose. I use smilies a lot and sometimes I use the wrong ones for the situation. :smack: I have been taken to the Pit twice for a unique form of drive-by. I’d probably still be guilty of it, but they changed the vB code on the new board. Actually, I thought it was my style, but not everyone agreed.
[ul][sup]The above is my confession (some might say “excuse”).[/sup][/ul]
I really want to thank the Chicago Reader for making this whole thing possible; the administrators and moderators for donating time to make it what it is; and all of my fellow [sup]members[/sup] for making it so damn interesting.
