Dry Clothes - Fast

How do I dry clothes fast?

My washer is broken and it will wash but will not spin. I have ordered replacement parts to fix the fact that it won’t spin the clothes.

I’ve tried handwringing about 200 pounds’ worth of towels, and the towels have been airing since this morning, but they still are soaking.

What can I do?

Take them to a laundromat?

Run them over with your car…

Laundromat unless you happen to have an old mangle press laying around.

I’m wondering why not just wring as best you can and put them in the dryer?

If it wasn’t towels I’d say roll them hard in towels. As it is, if you don’t have a mangle… hello the laundromat?

Can you hang them outside? If it’s windy and not raining, they’ll dry.

A year or two when my dryer broke down (in the winter) I resorted to hanging the clothes inside and aiming a portable fan at them.

…didn’t work that well.

Go to a laundromat until you can get your washer fixed.

I don’t know if this will work too well with towels, but what about using a hair dryer? I’ve done that with lightweight clothes I’ve hand washed.
