I’m not sure whose idea it was to combine a clock with a radio, but there’s no question that combining the two different devices into one proved to be a great marketing success.
But about the rest of us wannabe inventing visionaries and geniuses - what other marvelously quirky, useful, idiotic, or generally humorous combinations of items could be devised? How about an electric knife-vibrator, eyeglass case-pencil sharpener, or pool cue-compass?
