And it was pretty much exactly what Leto II did, except he was the only worm left when the planet was fully changed.
I actually saw that version in the theater on opening night (got the handout explaining things, too), and when that opening came on last night I had no idea where that was from. Had to go look it up on wiki.
Still as painful to watch now as it was in the theater.
Alia also had the prescient abilities of the Kwizatz Haderach – but her prescience wasn’t as good as Paul’s. After Paul’s “death”, she keeps upping her spice intake in an attempt to resolve the clarity of her prescient visions, to no avail… and, furthermore, the spice overdose only makes her problems with Abomination even worse, leading to her possession.
