Dynamic Form Filling Software

We have two applications that I routinely copy information between. The data is stuff like name, address, phone number, etc. One of them is web based and I have control over how the data fields are laid out. The other is out of my control and is an off-the-shelf executable.

What I would like to be able to do is copy all the pertinent data from the first application with one mouse click and paste it into the other with a second mouse click. If XP had multiple clipboard buffers I could probably do this with a keyboard macro, but it doesn’t.

I have seen form filling software that will fill in forms with data you have stored, but it seems to only support having the same info each time. What I would like to do is paste different info each time.

Hope I am being clear. I am open to any and all suggestions (except moving to Vista).

Look into Roboform. It supports different personalities. I’m not sure if they are called personalities, but hey, if Eudora was on board with my mental deficiencies…roboform is welcome on the wagon.

Also, you can probably find some freeware/shareware clipboard applications that allow you to have multiple items on your clipboard. I seem to remember Windows having something like that at one time, but it wasn’t a commonly known thing.

As far as I know, Roboform only works in web browsers.

Thanks, AuntBeast, I just tried RoboForm. It’s a cool program for automatically filling out repetitive personal info, but the multiple identity support is kinda clunky. It would be easier to just continue to cut and paste fields one by one.
