D'you think this cake will work?

Just saw a magazine recipe that I’d like to try. It’s called Rocky Road Angel Food Cake. You make an angel cake, slice off the top and hollow it out, refill the center with a chocolate mixture and chunks of the cake, then put the lid back on and frost it.

Only thing is, the recipe says to frost it with whipped cream. However, since whipped cream by itself makes me gag, I plan to add chocolate and liqueur to the cream and make it a chocolate ganache. Mr. Rilch is dubious about this, saying that chocolate topping and a chocolate center would be overkill.

So what do you think?

Nothing wrong with all chocolate in my opinion but if you want to go along with his wishes try mocha (brew good strong espresso) or hazlenut (use that stuff in a jar that ku\ids have on bread, it blends easily into icings).
