Regarding Cecile’s “Earlobes and heart disease” (Are earlobe creases a sign of heart disease? - The Straight Dope):
I seem to recall that another physical ‘sign’ is the phenomenon of fingers that do NOT taper down towards the ends, but, instead, get somewhat larger.
Any comment, corroboration, or refutation?

Of course, bar-hopping to loud music with relative strangers while drinking too much probably isn’t all that great for your heart, either.
Odd - the link in my message works for me. Weird.
