Ahhh, the white cliffs of Bungay.
Apparently the earthquake has caused a large crack to appear on the coast in Hampshire, quite some distance from Kent.
Or perhaps the crack was already there, judging by the comments on that page. I know the area well, as several of my girlfriend’s relatives live in Barton and Highcliffe, and the cliffs are always crumbling into the sea. More pictures of the cracks and the threatened beach huts (!) here…
Good thing the officer has his kevlar on. In case the crack attacks with an AK47.
I’m pretty sure I can see weathering around the edges of that crack. Maybe it’s suddenly widened a bit, but I don’t believe it has only just happened.
