Earthquake Question

Since Earthquakes on earth are called earthquakes. Are earthquakes on Mars called Marsquakes.

I believe the generic term “quake” is usually used for seismic events on other planets. Or, you could just call them seismic events. :stuck_out_tongue:

NASA calls quakes on the moon “Moonquakes” in at least one document.

If the moon was really made of green cheese, it would be a cheesequake… oops, maybe I shouldn’t have made that joke. I hope DQ doesn’t sue…

Marsquakes

Sunquakes

Starquakes

Is the dirt on the Moon called “moon”? Could you make marsenware pottery?

For the latter, it would be Martianware pottery. Earth > earthen = Mars > Martian.

Regolith.

Nah, Cheesequakes happen in New Jersey, long before DQ borrowed the name.
