Someone has managed to get my private email address and so I would like to close my hotmail account and open a new one elsewhere. Any suggestions for something with lots of storage and ease of use? (Think “simpleton.”)
I’ve used Yahoo for years with nary a problem. They give you 4Mb of storage space, which twice what you get with Hotmail. You can also upgrade to a 25Mb mailbox for something like $20 a year.
There’s also a blocking function you can use if that certain someone manages to get your e-mail address again. You can set it to automatically delete any mail from a certain address, or even a whole domain.

I have about three addresses at mail.com. I like it because the addresses are personalized.
Also, I have a program called “ePrompter” which sits in the system tray and checks my 3 mail.com addresses, my yahoo address, and my AOL address every hour, and tells me if I have any mail. I can then read it right through the program, so I don’t even have to visit the sites.
