About 12 years ago, we were driving between SCal and Michigan. We spent the night in Amarillo. A few hours East of Amarillo, right off the freeway, there was a sign “Big Daddy’s Ribs,” or something similar. We were hungry by then so we stopped.
Oh, dear GAWD. No competitive eating there, just damned good food. So good, twelve years later, I can remember it and smile.
