So I set up my own forwarding. All emails from the list got automatically forwarded to the most important sounding person I could find on their company website, with a little explanation saying he’d stop getting this spam as soon as they stopped sending me it. Worked like a charm.

This is one of the most wonderful, ingenious actions I have heard of. ::applause::
