Well, I just got back from three days in the field, only to check my e-mail inbox (on the Web first, before I download anything suspicious). Here’s what I get (quoted exactly as it appears:
[ul]
[li]Account Verificati on - eBay Support - 6/9/2005 (10:51:38 pm) [/li][li]Ebay Account Incident 9 - Clare Howard - 6/9/2004 (4:20:11 am) [/li][li]Ebay Account Issue uw - Arron Deleon - 6/9/2004 (0:50:42 am)[/li][li]Ebay Account Incident y6 - Gregorio Huff - 6/8/2004 (2:19:07 pm)[/li][li]Ebay Account Review pa - Tracey Heard - 6/8/2004 (1:36:52 pm) [/li][/ul]
  ! I never knew I had so many incidents! Especially since I haven’t used eBay in nigh on two years!
But I swear to you, great Teeming Millions, I’m so glad I have so many eBay agents, who unfortunately can’t spell worth a dam, but are so vigillant in watching over my acount.
OTOH, I have been using Ebay quite a lot the last few weeks, (Well bidding anyway, not winning too much.) and the level of phishing emails I have received has went way down.
If there were, I want you to know that I’d take full responsibility. I’d even be there at night to tuck the the rugrats in and wish them a pleasant biddy-bye.
I forward them right off to spoof@ebay.com.
I usually get a reply from an ‘Ande’ ( I suspect is short for Android) thanking me for my action and that Ebay will never ask for my…blah, blah, etc.
