Ecig battery submerged in water, salvageable?

EGO Twist 2 battery, fell into a bucket of water two weeks ago.

Left it in the sun, put it in hot places, have shaked it violently, anything to get any remaining moisture out of it.

It will accept a charge when hooked to the usb charging cable, goes through the charge cycle and turns off. but will not turn on. No clue how to dismantle it for further drying, no obvious screws or anything.

They’re pretty cheap. I’d replace it without trying it again.

Don’t even bother. Given the price and what happens when they explosively discharge in your hand inches from your face, just write it off and get a new one.

If you know people who have stepped up their equipment they’ll give them to you. I hooked up a guy who wanted to stop smoking the real stuff with an older mod, 4 E-Go batteries, a RBA tank and 2 CE5s just the other day out of the stuff I don’t use anymore. Once you get past E-Gos you never go back.

EDIT: If you must try, though, they come apart just below the threads. The top slides snugly into the cylindrical body. Put a tank on it and wiggle back and forth and you’ll see it loosen. There are two leads from the battery soldered to the top, so don’t pull really hard or you’ll break them. But don’t expect to fix it. I’ve tried, it’s not worth the effort. Seriously, just write it off.
