Actually, given the fact we’re careering towards another recession at the very least, unless something is agreed soon, it’s not that particularly funny.
It may not be funny, but it’s a very effective cartoon. I really like the Economist, and wish another subscription would magically appear on my doorstep, like the last one did.

I subscribe to The Economist and read as much of it as I can each week while also having a job and kids. I look forward to retirement when I can read the whole thing before the next one shows up.
And I LOVED this cartoon when I saw it - one of the best recently.
