"Edge of Tomorrow" was so freaking good!

For awhile I didn’t really seek out his movies because of the whole cult thing, but I have to say, you know damned well you’re going to be entertained by the guy. I kind of feel they don’t know how to market him anymore, maybe? I mean, every single movie he’s done lately has a weirdly non descriptive title (talking about this made us grab Knight and Day from the library, which was a perfectly serviceable popcorn movie with a reasonable amount of charm.) He’s going to give you your money’s worth.

Watched it last night. It was OK. A little too much magical nonsense with the visions and the Mimics seemed oddly slow whenever the plot needed them to be. And the cliche about the unit he was with being complete misfits was a bit eye-rollie.

I’m no TC fan, but I thought he did an excellent acting job. The scene at the beginning when he’s talking to the general was brilliant.
