I’m currently looking at renting a place that’s next to some of those big high voltage power lines. It occurred to me, are power lines of this type in any way capable of affecting the quality of DSL or cable service in their vicinity, or of interfering with radio reception nearby?
I’d imagine those lines give off one hell of an electromagnetic field, and it would be a living nightmare to move into a place and find out I can’t get usable DSL because of something silly like this. I don’t care if it makes me impotent or something, as long as I can still get good pings. Please put my mind at ease! Thanks!
Oh, and I apologize in advance if I butchered any terminology or principles of physics while writing this post.
