It took me 21 minutes to solve. It could’ve taken longer; I tried to overthink what “on the left” (clue 4) meant. Did it mean “to the left” or “immediately next to, on the left side”? I decided to chance it ('cause I’m a risk-taker, don’t you know :)) and it turned out alright.
I used a typical logic-problem grid, with the details (green, house one, etc.) listed in alphabetical order according to type (color, house number…). I also drew five houses on a piece of paper and labelled them from left to right, one through five, to help me stay on track of the numbering system I implemented.
