A few years ago, I read a book called, “Breakthrough:Electronic communication with the Dead.” It detailed the experiements of a scientist, Konstatine Raudive, who seemed to achieve spectacular (and spooky) results. It created a huge ruckus in Germany at the time. (late 60’s I think) My question is: Whatever happened to this inquiry? With modern equipment, it seems that his methods could be proven or dubunked. Anyone ever read/hear about this?
Well, putting in the name “Konstatine Raudive” into Google led me to a website that was too weird for words, but buried in that list is a spot where you can apparently listen to some audio recording samples. I haven’t tried it because I’m at work right now.
On the off-chance that someone bungled the spelling of his name, I tried the variation “Konstatin Raudive” in Google, and came up with this website that has a bit more information about the guy and his work.
That’s about it. He doesn’t seem to have made a huge impression in the world of the paranormal.
I couldn’t help but think of The Sixth Sense while reading that article, though.
Hmmpf. The second link doesn’t work.
Let’s try again.
