Quoted in full in case he deletes. Here is talking about Vern Unsworth, one of the British Divers who took part in the Thai Cave rescues. Vern criticised Elon yesterday. Today Elon calls Vern “pedo guy” who “lives in Thailand (sus)”.

I had no doubts, and he’s clearly a thin-skinned attention whore. Many other people and groups were involved in that rescue and yet I don’t remember hearing of self-promoting tweets from them.
I’m pretty sure that at some point in the future, Elon Musk will look at that tweet again and join the rest of us in asking “wtf?”
If Musk and Trump have shown us nothing else, it’s that there’s some really good drugs at the top - and they don’t mix well with Twitter.
‘Pedo guy’? Musk better have some evidence to back that up. Because Mr Unsworth and his fellow divers have the admiration of pretty much the entire UK and Mr Musk might find his comments held against him.

WTF indeed. What a grossly inappropriate retort it was. OK, the comments by Vern Unsworth were probably overdone too (telling Musk to shove his apparatus etc) but at least Mr Unsworth had experience on his side. And saying that Musk was just attention-seeking is patently obvious to everyone who has been following the story, so no argument there.
But Musk’s twitter comments? Just wow.

That tweet really does sound like Trump…self justification all over the place, unnecessary slams at someone who had the temerity to criticize him, Gross overreaction, putting forth what sure sounds like an alternate reality, incredibly thin skin. “I am the Greatest!”
“I know more about rescues and diving than the rescuers and the divers.” Cf. “I know more about ISIS than the generals.”
Wonder if the diver will file a libel suit. Aren’t defamation cases much easier for plaintiffs to win in the UK?

I was wondering if anyone else had seen those comments. It was such a wtf moment for me, I thought, no he didn’t, it was some crazy dream I had. His idea reminded me of a Spongebob episode where Spongebob and Patrick drive a little sub through Squidward. Anyway, big ego, little man.

Elon Musk is clearly a frustrated individual, increasingly having difficulty explaining to investors just how Tesla is going to ever turn a profit. I guess having a diver point out the stupidity of sending a sub for one was just too much for his fragile ego to handle.

No kidding. But I have a feeling – and all it is is a hunch – that his last few months of erratic behavior is likely drug-related. Maybe he started using stimulants when Tesla entered “production hell” and those drugs are just taking the course that they tend to do.
He thinks Musk designs all that shit himself, like some kind of Tony Stark.
