Does anyone know of any magic tricks that can be done via email? Probably would have to be similar to card tricks… like a guessing numbers kind of thing but thats just a guess. Anybody know any? I would be interested and appreciative.
As a side note, any good sites for fairly easy magic tricks in general? I love slight of hand, but my hands are a bit small and pudgy for most of what I’ve seen.

working the midnight shift? Awww… damn… I feel for you. You working in a call center? I used to work a 3:30 - midnight shift. You would think its slow… but when they only employ 2 people for that shift to cover the whole U.S. Damn.

I’m truly sorry I’m making such a mess of your thread. I had nothing useful to contribute and should have kept out of it…Yes, I work midnights, but only for another week and a half. I’ve been on this shift for 1 1/2 years and I am SO ready to get OFF it. It is quiet here on midnights most of the time. But I am covering for someone’s vacation and last night and tonight I should have been off. My employer only keeps two people per shift, too, for cover in the whole of the US, including Hawaii, and Europe as well. I am computer operations/tech support for a major hospitality coporation. I deal with only internal customers, but that’s bad enough.
The good news is, it’s only 7 days until vacation, and after vacation, I get to go to days!

I know all about the midnight jobs… I liked it for awhile, now I dont like working past 7pm! L
It was a kind of a shock going from nights to days though… be prepaired, but once you get used to it theres no problem. Less drunk people too… L
I only deal with internal agents in the company too as of this week, now I don’t EVER want to go back to public cu’s. LOL …the only good thing to come out of this week… but a VERY good thing.
I’ve not had to deal with drunks, thank God, but I am worried about my level of stress escalating when I go on days. Much more activity and noise and people and calls…Day shift is the only one with a staff of more than 2 or 3 people at a time…I’ve actually accepted the position of “floater” which means that once I’ve been trained on all 3 shifts, I’ll be covering for vacations, etc. It’s a promotion and a raise, but sometimes I think “What the HELL was I thinking” when I accepted this…
Whammo, I know a few that you can do through the mail, so they would work through e-mail. I know even more that you can do over the phone, so those might work as well (or over ICQ or AIM).
I’m really sorry, but I’m just too tired to find them right now (I’m not sure which of my books they’re in). I’ll get them to you as soon as I can. I have classes tomorrow, so it might take a little while, but I’ll get them to you. 3 or 4 come to mind off the top of my head.
