Ok, I have reached my population limit, no other city centers available, have an abundence of worker/citizens, whatever ye call 'em, my question is this:

How do I kill off/delete, whatever ye call it, unnecessary units for more desirable units?

Choose the units, hit the delete key. Listen to their death-screams.
