I’ve already got nearly every form of fast food known to Man within a couple-blocks radius of here, and of the few that we’re still missing, I’m indifferent to most of them (like, I like Quizno’s, but I like Penn Station better, and we already have one of those). I think the only thing missing around here that I actually like is Skyline Chili (the closest is about a half-hour away), so I guess I’d take that.
We’ve got Bk, and Wendy’s for burger chains but our island lacks a Taco Bell. I heard there used to be one but it folded and that location is now home to a Jamaican jerk restaurant and bakery. If I had my way we would close that down and bring back the Taco Bell.
And for one more to bring in, I have to go for Arby’s, I know it wouldn’t last but oh do I miss Arby’s when the closest one is nearly a 500 mile plane ride away.
A former 1960’s Pizza Hut. Still had the red roof until a few years ago. I ate there a few times before it closed. It’s been a used car lot for awhile.
This place. But I would weigh 400 lbs, so I just go when I visit my mom a few hours away. But it has ALL our junk food cravings in one spot. All of them. They’re cheap, too, and the gyros are enormous. We like to get a huge bag of everything on our way to Lake Michigan for a day at the beach. Mmm, sandy fries.
Welp, I think we need to head up that way next weekend.
Ah, so I see they do. They have some nice looking rice and green beans too. However those crinkle fries are unacceptable and I can’t believe they don’t make a basic buttermilk biscuit. Hmmmmmmmph
Thanks for pointing it out though. I might try it if I’m jonesing hard enough/
I’d love a Primo Hoagies (Philly area sandwich chain). However, since it is highly unlikely they would expand to the desert Southwest I’d settle for a closer El Pollo Loco - the nearest one is 20+ minutes away.
Holy hell I literally forgot that Cook Out existed until you just mentioned. This is absolutely the correct answer for me. A place where I can get a double cheese burger and have my side be a quesadilla? Yes, please! Also those shakes?
My other vote would be for a Bojangles (best fast food mac and cheese ever) and a Fazoli’s. There really isn’t anywhere you can get fast italian like good ole fuzzles.
We’ve had Raising Cane’s for a while, and slightly more recently got a couple locations of Slim Chicken’s, which I like more. Slim’s does chicken strips and wings, and also chicken and waffles, and I think that’s pretty much it. I think their chicken seasoning tastes better than Cane’s, and their sides are to die for.
