I encountered some today:
-some of the building doors at my work would not open. They are controlled electronically with magnetic card key access. The computer that runs them reset the date to 1980. It took a couple hours to fix the computer date so the doors would open and people could get to their office.
-some programs at my work have not been working do to y2k bugs. Nothing earth shattering, so far.
-the ATM machine I went to during lunch was out of order. I don’t know if it was a y2k problem.
-the phones are not working for one of the departments at my work. I don’t know if it is a y2k problem, but that has never happened before in my 2.5 years working here.
