Well, it turns out it’s fairly common to meet on the net. I guess I’ll share my story- I met a woman on ICQ, pretty much by chance… That was may 25th… We met in person for a festival in my home town for a week, which was the happiest week in my life so far. We both know we want to spend the rest of our lives together, and I was just wondering how many others out there found love in the same way. Thank you all for responding:)
And keep some interesting proposal ideas coming- it’s nice to see what others did for the occasion…

A magazine that I read, I think Redbook, had a contest
with the most romantic wedding proposal. The winner’s story was great. Apparently the man and woman lived together and the woman comes home one day to find little hershey kisses on the floor leading from the front door to the bathroom. Once in the bathroom the kisses lead to the bathtub and when she pulls open the shower curtain there were a bunch of roses somehow attached to the wall of the shower with a note that read “If I kiss the ground you walk on and shower you with roses will you marry me?” with the boyfriend standing in the bathroom.
I thought that was such a sweet and romantic way to propose.
