England designates Iceland as a terrorist country

If the U.K. hadn’t have done what they did then Icelandic customers would have received back their deposits in Icelandic banks, which I think is perfectly fair but also more then a billion Pounds Sterling belonging to British depositors would have effectively disappeared.

Leaving a lot of British depositors penniless.

That’s Darlings point of view, and what he said. Not what was said in thistelephone conversation which I’ve already linked to.

We don’t know what would’ve happened.

The Ninjas vs Vikings vs Pirates rivalry would be settled with a domestic cleaning frenzy?

On a slightly more serious note, the UK’s decision is a terrible one. If, for example, GM or Ford filed for bankruptcy, would Gordon Brown seize their UK car plants and freeze their assets?

If they also operated banking systems, probably yes.

Then again, we are talking about America, and British PMs are traditionally America’s poodles. So he probably would have growled fiercely, or perhaps whimpered like a dog might do if you leave the food bowl empty too long.

Ah its always good to see a well thought out intelligent argument based on the facts.

Are you sure that you’re in the correct forum?

Your navy wack polar beer? I don’t know what that means, but it sounds like either a terrible waste or an innovative new use of alchohol.

We’re quite innovative in our usage of alcohol, but in that case I just meant that a Polar Bear would be the biggest thing the guns on the Coast Guard Vessels (no Navy, just Coast Guard) could hurt.

We hunt Polar Bears with axes. No sport otherwise

I knew there’s a reason I’m cleaning and reorganizing my apartment.

So that when our Hot Viking Lady Rulers arrive after their tempestuous ocean voyage of exile, they’ll be favourably inclined towards me.

You do know they usually come riding in, looking like this (not entirely SFW), picking you up on the field of valour, bringing you to Valhalla

But I guess a clean redecorated apartment couldn’t hurt

Isn’t seizing a countries assets an act of war?

They look like a logo that says ‘hotlinking is not allowed’? Obviously Pagan theology has changed since I studied it.

Most disappointed am I :frowning: It was a slightly more risque version of this.
