English Dopers, Give me the names of some towns over there that we can use as a build

OK! Thanks all, let’s turn off the faucet now, I’m printing this out and will pass it to my friend tonight, in a week or so I will post what they decided to call the building.

By the way there is a town in California just north of where I am from called San Louis Obispo AKA S.L.O everyone I know refers to the place as SLOW.

In addition to brainfizz’s suggestion, I should add that many villages have double-barrelled names. So add a random word that sounds sort of grunty and anglo-saxon the first one, or a random adjective, onto the first one - thus “Boogerton Twatte”, “Boogerport Stump”, “Higher Boogerford”, “Littler Boogerham”.

One is in the Shetland Islands, the other in the Orkney Islands (although I’m not sure either considers themself to be part of Scotland).

It’s a street in the finacial district. There are lots of funny names round there – Old Broad Street, Threadneedle Street, St. Mary Axe etc.

Lydiate is home to “the oldest pub in Lancashire”.

Yes, but follow jjimm’s suggestion of adding a supplementary word for more English authenicity:

Warwick Chase… no.
Warwick End… nope.

Ah, what about Warwick Hunt?

Say it out loud.

Again.

Faster.

Ahhhhhhhhhh…!

I can’t see that the charming Cornish village of Indian Queens would cause any problems.

Reminds me of a Douglas Adams quote:
