Episode II: Where was Aurra Sing?

No, I feel cheated. All the rumor mills, and if I recall, Lucas himself, said that we’d learn more about Aurra Sing in Episode II. Phantom Menace viewers will recall her as the conspicuous bounty hunter who showed up for, what, three seconds in the second lap of the podrace. (She thus beats Boba Fett for the award for “Most popular bounty hunter with the least amount of screen time.”) She’s also been a major player in the Expanded Universe, having killed at least a few Jedi.

So…where was she hiding in Ep. II, if at all?

Maybe she got replaced by Zam Wesell (the female bounty hunter in the beginning).

Exactly. Lucas replaced her. I hope he decides to use her in a bigger role in the third one.
