I found this review of this printer. I’m interested because it can print directly onto CD/DVD media.
Anybody use one?
How fast (or slow) is it when it prints onto discs? How does the end result look?
I got it, i love it. prints a disc in about 2-3 minutes, and the print quality is fantastic, although somewhat muted in color (on printable discs).
Text quality is crisp and printing on photo paper gives the usual epson photo realism. Highly recomended.
IIRC, you have to give a generous amount of time for the CDs to dry, but otherwise, I’ve heard rave reviews from some of the ndie musicians I know who have used it.
Alas, the 900 is extinct. However, you can get a R200 for 99.00, it does the same thing for less and it has indvidual ink tanks. You will be impresses by the photo output too…
I realized that when I did a search at various office supply websites.
It may well be worth a try.
