Has anyone else here read it? I haven’t quite decided what I think of it - it’s fairly well-written, and the red nose/white face clown idea is interesting, but the whole point of the book was the Theory of Levity? I thought ‘Comedy as the opposite of Gravity’ was an old Firesign Theater gag.
There’s also a glaring error in his columns of 20th Cent. red noses and white faces - was that purposeful?
Any opinions?
