Erotic Abstract Art Question

What are some, shall we say, “concealed” or abstract works of erotic art? The kind you could put in your bedroom to set a mood, without it being too overtly sexual for kids and etc. to see? Along the lines of Gustav Klimt’s “The Kiss” perhaps? Also if there is a site where (cheap) works like this are for sale, that would be great. Thanks!

I have these two in my bedroom:

Picasso’s The Dream. Guess what she’s dreaming of?

Classy yet clandestinely subliminal

Georgia O’Keefe’s work has been accused of being highly vaginal. Look at some samples, you’ll probably agree, as do I.

Santana’s first album cover contained nudes hidden in the lion’s mane. Sorry, coudn’t find a larger image.

Here is a larger image. I think there’s only one nude in the image. Actually, one topless woman in a grass skirt.

I recall the single ‘official’ nude. As teenage boys, we ‘perceived’ a few more. I wanted to purchase a piece of milled maple burl that had that quality (that maybe has a name) or suggesting the appearance of erotic images within. A cabinet maker had claimed it first for that same quality.

How about subliminal erotic art you can wear?

Well, there are certainly more faces in that album-cover art, though it’s debatable whether there are any bodies that go with them, and whether those bodies are clad.

Mrs. Barone’s sculpture!

That’s the picture I was going to post…or at least whichever picture I could find from that scene.

Someone placing a splint on the bones in her neck?

Duct-tapeing her forehead back together?

You might check out Adam Connelly’s work.

Nice link!

Supposedly, kids see the nine dolphins in the and not the intimate couple. I’m skeptical but have no kids on whom to test.

Hard to find the couple again once I saw the dolphins.

Really?

I immediately saw the couple and thought to myself “what dolphins?” I had to look at it a moment longer for the dolphins to appear for me.

On of my favorite meditations on erotic abstract art.
