Europe travel books

I am taking advantage of a slow work period at my job and going to Europe for a month or two. Can anyone recommend travel books that list campsites, bed & breakfast locations with email and phone numbers? Primarily staying in UK but will spend time in France and Germany or any other place I feel like going to.

I plan on traveling light, everything in a large ruck. Any general advice on this subject will be appreciated. Thanks.

The Rough Guide books are usually very good.

The Lonely Planet books are very good (well, the majority of them - there are a few lemons out there); they’re aimed at backpackers and “people who know how to get their luggage off the carousel”. Big lists of low budget accommodation and some camping information. You can get editions for individual countries, or for large areas, which have less detail. They’re also good to buy in advance, because their orientation, culture and history sections are very comprehensive, make great reading, and get you all fired up to go.

Damn. It was the Lonely Planet books I was actually thinking of. Complete brain meltdown. Sorry.
