What are the rules for when foreigners can enter the NBA draft?
It sounds like they have to be 19 the year of the draft, and haven’t lived in the U.S. in three years, didn’t graduate from a U.S. high school, and haven’t enrolled in a U.S. college. That’s about it when it comes to rules, although if they’re under contract to another team there can be other issues, as anybody affiliated with the Minnesota Timberwolves could tell you.
