I’m taking a class and I’m really having trouble understanding the difference between evaluation and measurement. Is there anyone out there who can explain it to me?
Measurement is taking the measure of something that is already a measurable quantity.
Evaluation is assigning a value to something that may not be inherently or easily measurable.
You can measure the square footage of a house, but you can’t measure its value.
