Eve: brava! brava!

Yeah, and I have to say, no matter what you think about your workout routine, Eve, it’s been good to ya. Everyone knows the camera adds ten pounds, so you must be a stick!

And kudos, you did a great job! I really enjoyed the show.

::slinking away enviously::

I didn’t record the whole show, but I did get Eve’s segment on tape. Excellent job! I think the above posters articulated your intelligence, eloquence, and attractiveness better than I ever could. Let’s just say that I’m in total agreement!

Flawless, Eve, simply flawless job!

[blushing prettily, batting eyes into left field]

Well, all of your lovely compliments have been like a big ol’ ice-cream sundae, and the cherry on top was a friend who called to say, “I never noticed before, but you looked a lot like Norma Shearer!”

The Queen of MGM—now I can die happy!

P.S. I wouldn’t TELL anyone if y’all barged into amazon.com and gave my books glowing reviews . . . Well, maybe not the one that won’t be released till April, that WOULD make them suspicious . . .

Hey, Eve. Thanks for the biblio. I’ll pick one up next time I’m in Borders.

Let us know when you get the juicy sit-com deal. Look out Seinfeld!

Well, I feel ignorant. I didn’t see the show. Will it be rerun anytime soon? And I’m going to get some of those books, Hollywood/cinema history is one of my favorite subjects.

Sorry Eve. Please forgive me. I humble myself before you.

Changing my sig, because Wally said to, and I really like Wally, and I’ll do anything he says, anytime he says to.

How about this. If everyone on this board were to go to at least one bookstore and ask them if they have any Eve Golden books in stock, just think of the buzz we’d be creating. Several thousand requests for her books from all across the nation (as well as our international contigent) would surely get some kind of attention.

Hey, Nemo, NOW you’re talkin’! I’ll let y’all know when my next book comes out, and you can break down the bookstore doors, screaming, “We want Eve!”

Cristi, consider yourself Absolved. I dunno if it will be rerun; maybe this weekend on your PBS station? It’s called “Culture Shock,” geeve a look in your TV pages.

Thank you, Oh Great Cinema Goddess.

I get paid next Friday. Ahm a-goin’ book shoppin’. I have got to get that Theda Bara book. I think I’ll get two. One for me, and one for my mom. It’s her birthday, and she loves Theda Bara.

What part of the show was it in? I forgot to tape until midway through. I’ll be watching later (this weekend probably).

IrishMan: it was near the end of the first hour. If she appeared anywhere in the second half, I missed it.

You say “cheesy” like that’s a BAD thing.
