I once bought a tv and stereo through one of the national rent-to-own chains. Managed to get out of that only paying about 150% of what they would have cost me in the store.

Lost a couple of thousand dabbling in day trading when the dot com bubble burst. I can’t really call that a sucker play though.

I bought this house aka “The Money Pit”

This applies to every house I’ve ever bought.

Oh, and a few years ago when I had to sell something and my broker said, “Sell the Netflix, it’s as high as it’s gonna get.” Right.
