Have you ever noticed something and wondered about it, only to later find out an entire study was done on the very subject?
For example, I worked with two boys who have autism back in 2001-2. They were both tall for their ages (the five-year-old was exactly a foot shorter than me!), and I occasionally saw a few other kids…who were also taller than their agemates. This made me wonder if there was a connection between autism and height.
Apparently I’m not the only one to wonder, because it was studied last year, and findings last December do seem to show that many children with autism are taller. How about that.
