I’ll let you decide if this is paranormal. I usually describe it as a powerful spiritual experience.
Some years ago a relationship I valued very much was ending. It was the night before I was going to leave, not just our home but the state and I was very emotionally distraught. I couldn’t sleep. As the hours ticked away I was literally begging for sleep to shut off my racing thoughts.
I had some sort of dream or vision. My significant other , soon to be my ex, and I rose out of the bed together. Just above the bed music began to play and we began to dance. Everything was suddenly okay and I realized that the music playing was made up of all the little choices we had made that had brought us to this point and it all was perfectly fine. I woke up in the morning with a profound sense of peace and acceptance. I felt high but perfectly clear headed. I was able to say goodbye with no trace of sorrow. A friend picked me up and gave me a ride to the bus station. He knew what I had been going through and didn’t expect the man he picked up that morning. We talked a little and he asked. “What happened to you? You’re practically glowing.”
The experience has remained with me over the years and changed the way I looked at things form that moment on.
