Ever host/attend a murder mystery dinner? Was it fun?

Thanks everyone for the ideas and tips. Sounds like organization is key. It will be in early July so I’ll actually order a kit soon and start planning/reading so we all know what we’re doing. Thanks!

I agree with this! I went to one last fall and while it was super fun, I was hungry and thirsty and had to try to balance my Swedish meatballs plate, a drink, a purse and my big bulky character packet. The place where the food was was a small room and it was hard to move in and out of it and talk to people and be talked to and stuff. I would have much rather had dinner then someone died, or dinner, death, dessert, discussion.

The one I went to I believe came from a kit (we could look it up online beforehand) and there were a lot of people (it was put on by a local group, and anyone could come) but everyone was really into it and those of us who got roles to play did a great job, right off the cuff.

I was totally dumb and couldn’t follow the events while balancing my meatballs, so I was way off on the murderer, but it was still fun. And dressing up was fun!
