I don’t think he was actually arguing that it didn’t exist, just that it couldn’t be proven to exist, or that it was a metaphysical construct.

I suppose I should pick up the Skeptic magazine myself and read it so that I could understand his side of the argument.

Maybe he was referring to the Newtonian concept of absolute time, as Achernar suggests…

Mange, very well, he is explaining the illusion of time. But I think he really does go further than Boltzmann’s “axis of events” to describe a truly timeless universe (or multiverse).
